Relationships
Today I got home from Ana’s house. Upon returning
from Seattle I stayed there for two days. Yesterday we had a long talk and
decided that we should halt the relationship. Our lives are leading us through
very different paths, and we don’t work that well as a long distance
relationship. We also didn’t think it would be fair for any of us to give up
our opportunities, and we did not see any middle ground at this point. It is not
to say that we shall never speak again. The relationship ended on a good note,
we still care for each other and have a great degree of respect for one another.
Life takes a lot of turns, and this was not an easy decision for either of us,
but we both think it is for the best, and who knows what will happen in the end.
It with come as a shocker to many people though. We already broke the news to
our parents and they understand and respect our
decisions.
We are still planning on working together in one of our classes we have together, which I think is great. We also share a common lot of friends, so it would be stupid to try to avoid each other. I really wish Ana the best with her career at Microsoft, as for me, I have no idea what will happen yet. Lets see.
