Yesterday Omar suggested playing dominos with shots
later that night, after little thought I decided it was an excellent idea and
offered my apartment. As soon as we decided to play we started letting everyone
know what was going down and that they should be at my place around 9:30ish.
Later that afternoon I went to the market and bought a bottle of Finlandia Lime,
Cointreau and some small paper cups to serve our shots.
The first one to get here was Jorge since he was being dropped off and staying at my place just to make sure he can get plastered in peace. Afterwards Coraly and Omar came by, then Ana, Rene, Linda and Angel arrived from the building next door and finally Armando and Lissette got here around an hour later.
As soon as Ana and the crew from next door got here we started playing and the shots started flying. At around 11:30ish our loser neighbors from the building next door started throwing rocks at our window. We ignored the first few, but then decided to move to another building where Ana, Rene and Linda live. We started playing in Ana’s apartment and after a few more hours the screams started flying by her neighbors from the next building (which is the same building my rocks came from, but the other side). So after a lot of screaming we moved to Linda’s apartment on the other side of this building, since there aren’t any buildings next to it and everyone who lives in their building are students, so they understand us.
After a while our liquor supply ended so we stopped playing. Pretty much no one drove back except Armando since he didn’t play and was sober enough to drive. Everyone else stayed at either mine, Ana’s or Linda’s apartment. It was a great time, and there will probably be plenty more of these events this semester. Now if I can only get my ass out of bed to go to my Philosophy class once in a while I should be set.
