From RS232 to USB
Today we decided to use USB instead of a standard
serial port. The reasons are simple:
1. a pin broke off our MAX232 chip
2. Somebody had a USB interface on hand
3. The USB interface simulates a standard serial port, making implementation trivial
So basically we are wasting precious USB bandwidth in a way. But it will look so much nicer and no legacy ports make me happy
