2 more cd’s for me!
Yesterday I kind of went on a binge shopping
spree, amongst the different things that I bought, I picked up 2 new (old)
Atmosphere albums. I picked up the first Album, Overcast!
which was previously hard to find, but all of the sudden appeared at my local
Best Buy, I also picked up Se7en
, which is a collection of tracks previously only released on vinyl that run
from ‘97-’99. I would say that these tracks are when Slug progressed from a
Battle rapper to a really introspective lyricist. Both albums are really good,
and its great to see how Slug has matured.
I have to say this has been a pretty good week music wise, Mars Volta, VHS or Beta, new Atmosphere disks, Saul Williams, my collection feels new again.
