Saturday, April 30th, 2005

I just got back from seeing Jurassic 5 at Stubbs and I have to say that was one awesome show. I’ll update later with a more thorough review.

Batman Begins Trailer

Thursday, April 28th, 2005

The full length trailer or Batman Begins has been uploaded to the Apple site. I personally have high hopes for this movie since it seems to be loosely based on the Batman: Year One book by Frank Miller. Let’s hope for the best.

ArsTechnica Review of Tiger

Thursday, April 28th, 2005

If you have the time, I would recommend reading Ars review of OS X Tiger. It goes into really high detail of some of the more obscure updates in this new release, and provides an educating view of some of the technology and future possibilities of Apple’s big cats.

A buys B

Wow, today is the day where companies announce they bought another company. Adobe bought Macromedia, and it turns out Gamestop bought Electronics Boutique also. Weird, I guess it sucks to compete.

Jade Empire

Sunday, April 17th, 2005
Yesterday I finished Jade Empire . As I usually do in games where I have a choice, I took the Path of the Closed Fist and some of the things you get to do are pretty evil. I really enjoyed the game, but I found it rather short, I clocked around 23 hours which if you’ve played any Bioware game before you will notice is a rather short amount of time. In KOTOR I clocked around 40 and the BaldursGateseries had me busy for at least 60 maybe even 80. I really enjoyed the streamlined fighting system, but I would have enjoyed feeling more powerful during the end, bigger effects and animations would have helped. Other than that the game was excellent in my opinion.

Millencolin

Wednesday, April 6th, 2005
Millencolin will be releasing a new album next week, and I really like what I’ve heard so far. I think Millencolin is my favorite pop-punk band. Check the album out, it’s called Kingwood.
